The second and third artists were “Flik” and “Cave Deli” (I can’t remember the exact order they were hired at the moment), whose real identities may not be too hard to determine if you’re familiar with them. Though their early art styles are strange to look at now!

Their comics were Oh My Devil!, Welcome to Darktown, the latter comic being a bit of a rare find these days.

Afterward Tang was brought in to utilize his skills as a talented gag-a-day comic writer (a role that Woc would fill many years later) and Hot Cake Theater premiered.

Having brought in all these cool guys, Slipshine was now a site featuring a group of artists, instead of just me.

I believe the site was a few months old at this point, and we went through an amazing upgrade of posting 45 pages a month instead of just 30.
